Juneteenth - Jefferson City
Encourages You to Register To Vote

On November 4, 2020 the country experienced the largest voter turn-out ever.  This in-part was due to the hard work of volunteers who held Voter Registration and Get Out The Vote (GOTV) drives.  We MUST continue the hard work of this endeavor.  We are at a crisis in that every state in the union, except three (3), has introduced some type of voter suppression legislation, and Missouri is no exception.    We need to be vigilent in this endevor to make sure we are not going backwards, and we lose our right to vote.   We do not want to end-up Pre-1965.   We must put in the work to ensure that our local citizens are registered to vote, and that every registered voter votes.  We are at a crisis

Juneteenth - Jefferson City generally have a registration drive on site at the Juneteenth Heritage Festival.  In that we will not be on-site this year and holding our Juneteenth Heritage Celebration Virtually, we are providing a link to the Secretary Of State's Office website on voting.  If you are not registered to vote you can register on the Secretary of State's Office website where you can Register to Vote or you can CHECK on your registration in the comfort of your own home.  Click the link and follow the instructions.
